BEAMS Co., ltd. (hereinafter “BEAMS”)recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. and considers the proper management of personal information to be its corporate obligation. BEAMS will make every effort to comply with all laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal information. and to live up to the confidence placed in it by society on the basis of the policy for the protection of personal information set out bellow.

Observance of laws

1.BEAMS will observe all laws and norms relating to personal information.

Purposes of use

2.BEAMS will acquire personal information by legal and fair means, and when acquiring it will make clear to the providers the purposes of gathering and using the information. and will devote the information to business use within the scope defined by those purposes.

Security measures

3.BEAMS will formulate appropriate security management to ensure the security and quality of personal information. BEAMS will make every effort to protect against abuses such as the improper accessing or leakage of personal information. and will continually educate and enlighten employees on this issue. Internal audit and other inspections will be conducted as appropriate, and where improvement is necessary the relevant matters will be remedied remedied promptly.

Provision to third parties

4.BEAMS will never, without the consent of the provider, disclose or provide personal information to any third party, except in the cases set out bellow. In the event that the recipients maintain its measures to protect personal information, such as those to prevent the improper leakage of personal information.

• 1）When used by outsourcing partners or BEAMS group companies solely within the extant necessary for business
• 2）When assumed, pursuant to the relevant business laws and other regulations, for some reason such as corporate merger, corporate damager, or transfer of business
• 3）When required or permitted to be provided by law or other regulation

Disclosure, amendment, deletion

5.In the event that a person who has provided information requests the disclosure, amendment, deletion or similar processing of their personal information held by BEAMS, BEAMS will do so within a reasonable period after confirming that the relevant request is genuinely from the provider of information.
