"The xx" and BEAMS collab items hit the store on Thursday, 27th July!

"The xx", reviewed as "the best Indie band of our times", sat down with ＜BEAMS＞ to create some collab items that will be on sale at "BEAMS HARAJUKU", from Thursday, 27th July.
"The xx" new album "I See You" is their second #1 in the U.K. Album Chart following their previous album, also peaking #2 on the Billboard 200. Their distinct and unique sound captures the hearts of music lovers those of the fashion world globally. These collab items are based on the artwork of this new album, infusing essences of street trends.
On opening day, Thursday, 27th July, "The xx" will be present at "BEAMS HARAJUKU" to signing session. Sales of their albums and collab items will be sold on this day, as well as their photo book "It Could be Love" for a limited time.
*Collab items will also be available for purchase at the Artist Merchandise Booth at Fuji Rock Festival from Friday, 28th July, 2017.

＊The second floor will be closed at 5pm due to preparations for autograph session.
【Sales guidelines】
Sales will start at 11am on Thursday, 27th July.
＊Entry passes may be handed out to avoid overcrowding.
・Purchases will be limited to one of each item per person.
＊Maximum purchase for one person would total five items; one short-sleeved T-shirt of each design, one long-sleeved T-shirt, one cap and one sling bag.
・Items cannot be booked for, kept aside for payment on a later date, or shipped.
・Each customer will be served individually.
・BEAMS CLUB card can only be used by the card holder.
・Please refrain from queuing on the streets from the night before or other disruptive behavior to our neighbors.
・BEAMS will not intervene in or be held responsible for any disputes between customers concerning sales of items.
・Customers who do not follow the directions of BEAMS staff may be prohibited from entering the shop and autograph session.

【Terms and Conditions for entry】
・Entry passes will be given to the first one hundred customers to purchase any of the designated items sold at BEAMS HARAJUKU.
＊Subject to availability.
・For facilitation purposes, entry passes will be handed out.
・Entry to autograph session will be granted according to number on pass. Admission will be to one of the two separate sessions.
・Only the individual with the pass will be authorized entry.
・Pass holders can receive no more than one autograph on one item of their choice.

＊The xx have expressed their wish for the IDEA BOOK to not be used as an item for collecting autographs.
＊Autograph session participants will receive stickers.
【Notes】
・Please come prepared, as there will be no paper of any kind available at the venue for autographs. Items purchased at the store can be signed.
・The participant incurs transport costs to venue.
・The event can be canceled or postponed due to unpredictable conditions of weather or reasons of the artist. In which case transport costs of any kind will not be compensated.
・Participants who fail to follow instructions from staff at the venue may not be admitted to the autograph session and/or may be asked to leave.
・Please be noted there is a possibility of media coverage with cameras.
・There will be no cloakroom or lockers to leave your belongings.
・Ignitable devices and dangerous items are prohibited.

The xx
"The xx" are an English post-pop band formed in 2015 in London. One of the members, Oliver Sim is also somewhat a fashion icon, being on the cover of the Spring/Summer 2017 issue of British fashion magazine "Another Man" and chosen as the face of DIOR HOMME 2016 Summer campaign,.
With episodes like their music video of their single released late last year, "On Hold", being directed by photographer Alasdair McLellan who created the photo book of the popular skateboard brand PALACE, to their collab photo book "It Could be Love" with said photographer, "The xx" is fast becoming an intrinsic band in cultural context.
