The lucky straw crafts of Takubo are made in the Takachiho region in the mountains of Miyazaki Prefecture. The straw crafts are called "Seven Generations of Heavenly Gods, Five Generations of Earthly Gods, Three Generations of Hyuga Gods," and the dangling tassels represent each of these gods.

The rice straw used as the material is grown by hand in the rice terraces, from planting to harvesting. By weaving it by hand, it becomes a fitting finish for a lucky charm. We are passing on the techniques of handiwork to the next generation while preserving the unique agricultural culture of this mountainous region, which is registered as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site, and the beautiful rice terrace scenery of Takachiho-go.

・The green straw will change to the natural color of rice straw over time.
-Please note that since this is a natural material, it may become moldy if placed in a hot and humid place.
・Because it is a natural material, insects may appear. In that case, it is effective to heat it at high temperature (over 50℃ for 2 hours in an oven or dryer) or to use insecticide to kill the insects and then dry it in the sun several times.
