Click here for a list of items celebrating the 100th anniversary of Yakumo's Wooden Bear Carvings!This apron from Masumi Tetsu Co., Ltd. has an eye-catching Kumohachi-kun printed on the pocket. The bib apron covers the dirt on the upper body and is worn with a string around the neck and a waist string tied together, giving a clean impression without worrying about the shoulder straps slipping off. It is made of durable 10.5oz denim fabric from KAIHARA, a long-established denim manufacturer in Hiroshima that has been producing kasuri (kasuri) since 1893 and started producing denim in 1970, making use of the indigo dyeing know-how it has cultivated through kasuri. The two large pockets are convenient not only for cooking, but also for gardening and DIY, and the simple design is accented with Kumohachi-kun, a motif of the branding iron that was pressed on the sole of a wooden carved bear's paw, placed in the pocket.
