What is Kyogi?
A traditional Japanese packaging material made by thinly shaving wood and drying it. It has excellent humidity control, breathability, and antibacterial properties that keep the humidity at an appropriate level, suppressing spoilage and preserving the freshness of ingredients. [For use]
The material tends to tear vertically along the wood fibers. You can use it as is even if it is torn.
Because the natural wood is thinly sliced, there may be individual differences in color and grain.
Due to the characteristics of wood, it may undergo natural deformation (warping or twisting), cracking or chipping, or discoloration over time.
