Takashima Chijimi
This traditional textile has been produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, since the Edo period. It uses highly twisted cotton yarn with a textured surface and a technique that shrinks the fabric with rollers, resulting in a cool material with high sweat absorption, quick-drying properties, and breathability.
