Just like 〈BEAMS〉, this special tie was created as a co-branded collaboration with 〈FAIRFAX〉, one of Japan’s leading tie brands, which was also founded in 1976.
The fabric used is 50-ounce silk from the prestigious British company ADAMLEY. We sourced a high-quality, substantial silk twill fabric and dyed it a deep navy using advanced printing techniques in Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture.
This tie boasts meticulous tailoring, featuring a seven-fold construction by skilled artisans with rare techniques even within Japan. It uses approximately twice the amount of fabric as a regular tie, and the hand-rolled tip, just 2mm wide, creates an overwhelming three-dimensional effect and a soft look on the chest. Furthermore, meticulous attention to detail is evident in the balance of the small end width (approximately 5.0cm) and the loop width (approximately 6mm). As a 50-ounce navy solid tie, an essential and authentic wardrobe staple, this is a masterpiece crafted without compromise, from the materials to the stitching.
