Leather items that can be enjoyed over time
With the theme of handmade crafts that incorporate Native American culture from the late 60's to early 70's, we create Special order leather bracelets with hand-cut, hand-stitched, and stamp work that give you a sense of the warmth of handiwork. The stamps are actually traditional stamps used by American Indians, and the motifs are traditional patterns inspired by things found in nature, such as the sun and flowers.
The leather is full vegetable tanned natural Italian steerhide, and it is characterized by the fact that it does not change too much in a good way and becomes more glossy with use. The clasp is decorated with turquoise to convey the atmosphere of the time. Since turquoise needs strength to be used in bracelets, we used processed rather than natural turquoise to create a piece with high cost performance.

The name is a combination of "MOTO", a brand of leather goods and silver accessories made by the Motoike brothers, artists who have both excellent techniques for traditional handmade work and a modern artistic sense, and "LABOR ATORY", which means laboratory. It is a leather laboratory where we approach various themes more freely and experimentally.
