Gentle experimental pop
Takao, an electronic music composer whose debut album attracted attention for its sound world that evoked sounds from contemporary music masters such as Toru Takemitsu and Yann Tomita, as well as ambient and game music, has released his latest work once again on Em Records.
This time, DJ eminemsaiko was appointed as supervisor, with vocalists Horiike Yumea, Christel Bellet, and Fujimoto Atsuo of Colored Music, and engineer Haraguchi Hiroshi also taking part.
With pop music as a reference, the band repeatedly constructs and deconstructs, creating a unique sound image and development that incorporates the aforementioned genres.
Despite this experimental approach, the film's calm and gentle worldview is soothing throughout.
