Product description
A masterpiece that heralded the beginning of a new era of chamber music.
Nobuyuki Nakajima, one of Japan's most famous and respected composers and pianists, known for his collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto on historical dramas, has released his 2006 album "Etepalma - Summer Impressions" on vinyl for the first time!
This album, which can be considered the origin of the genre, includes original songs based on themes from southern Europe to Africa, as well as works by Vinicius De Moraes, who left behind many famous songs from the early days of bossa nova, Spanish composer Federico Mompou, Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, jazz giant Duke Ellington, and Schumann, a composer who represents 19th century Romantic music.
This is a new form of chamber music that crosses over from classical to Brazilian music to jazz, and is a wonderful album that will surely be listened to for years to come.
