Since childhood, she has enjoyed traveling the world, visiting markets in various countries and collecting textiles, beads, amulets, and other crafts.
These are the sources of inspiration for her jewelry line, SEE REAL FLOWERS.
My friendship with the director of CATHRI led me to become captivated by the charm of Kurume Kasuri, and I had the leftover material from the fabric used by CATHRI transformed into small pieces of jewelry.

Elena Chien is a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer. From an early age, she learned to navigate busy markets with her Chinese grandfather and became a collector and treasure hunter. Her hobby is traveling around the world, and she has gone to markets in various countries to collect textiles, beads, amulets, and processed goods. These are the inspiration for her jewelry line, SEE REAL FLOWERS.
