Handmade jewelry by LA-based designer Elena Chien.
Her travels around the world, collecting textiles, beads, amulets, and crafts, are the source of inspiration for her jewelry line, "SEE REAL FLOWERS."
This time, through my friendship with the director CATHRI, I became enlightened about the charm of Kurume Kasuri (a type of ikat weaving).
CATHRI has created a special collection that transforms scraps of fabric generated during the production process into delicate jewelry.

Elena Chien is a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer. From an early age, she learned to navigate busy markets with her Chinese grandfather and became a collector and treasure hunter. Her hobby is traveling around the world, and she has gone to markets in various countries to collect textiles, beads, amulets, and processed goods. These are the inspiration for her jewelry line, SEE REAL FLOWERS.
