fennica 's original work jacket is mud-dyed at Higo Dyeing in Amami Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture. The design is based on a vintage French work jacket with an updated body balance, and was created based on the image of a short blouson with the word "Court" (meaning short in French) that was seen on old labels. The unique balance of pocket positions and short length make it easy to style. The material is a herringbone weave fabric with a strong twist of #14 in the warp yarn and #10 in the weft. The fabric is characterized by a tasteful and crisp feel created by using highly twisted warp threads. As you wear this item, the texture of the fabric and the aging of the dyeing will increase its flavor, and it will blend easily with work and military styles, and you can enjoy styling it with any bottoms, such as layering it with a T-shirt or shirt, or wearing it as a cover-up.

Amami Oshima mud dyeing is dyed by repeating the process of dyeing with techi wood and then dyeing with mud several times.
