The gentle presence of handiwork: A cup that decorates the dining table
Click here for a list of items at the "Kyushu Utsuwa Exhibition -Hand Crafts of Kyusyu-"!

This tumbler is from Harahiko Kiln, which preserves the tradition of Koishiwara ware while also working on creating new pottery that is easy to use and has a unique design that is closely related to modern life. Decorate your dining table with beautiful finishes made using traditional techniques.

*All tableware is handmade, and even if the tableware is of the same shape, each item will be baked differently, including the way the pattern appears. Please note that there are some individual differences.

[Precautions when using pottery]
Before using it for the first time, we recommend sealing it (soak it in rice water or flour dissolved in water overnight). Also, before serving food, pass it through water before use. It prevents odor and oil from sticking. After washing the utensils, please dry them before storing them.
*We do not recommend using microwaves, ovens, or dishwashers.

*The color may look different from the actual color depending on the lighting and viewing environment of your computer. Please note.
*Please refer to the image taken of the product alone for the color of the product.

Koishiwara ware Harahiko kiln
Masakatsu Kajiwara, who trained at the Koishiwara ware Kawasaki kiln, opened the kiln in 1991. While valuing Koishiwara's traditional techniques, we actively incorporate new glazes and techniques. Since 2012, his son, Daisuke Kajiwara, has been making pottery together.
Mr. Masakatsu is known for his skill in making detailed flying planes, and Mr. Daisuke makes highly designed vessels that fit in with modern life.
In 2003, at BEAMS, under the theme of "bridging design and craft," he presented a style that fuses traditional handicrafts centered on Japan with old and new designs mainly from Scandinavia. Based on the idea of "less global, more local," we offer products that go beyond the scope of our previous selections, from men's and women's wear collected from all over the world to tableware, interior decoration, and even food. It's all set.
