■ Design
The Style 36, which first appeared in 1977, is an iconic model of VANS, now known as the Old School. It is a traditional shoe that was the first to feature the iconic side stripe (Jazz Stripe), and since being renamed the Old School in the early 90s, it has established itself as a classic model.
■Details
While following the past archive design, it has a premium look with thick glossy sidewalls and foxing tape. The collar is padded with full grain leather lining, providing both comfort and luxury. In addition, attention to detail shines in the 100% cotton shoelaces and VANS traditional rubber waffle outsole.
■ Material
The upper is made of 8 ounce canvas and suede. The sole is made of SOLA FOAM ADC (30% bio-based material) and a rubber waffle outsole. This newly adopted SOLA FOAM ADC is a high-resilience polyurethane foam developed exclusively by VANS, providing a comfortable fit even when worn for long periods of time.
