In 2015, <Levi's®> was announced as the first official partner of Google's wearable technology development project "Project Jacquard." What happens when you connect your clothes to the internet? The first product from this project to create a new future, which combines technology and the iconic style of Levi's®, was released in the United States in 2017.

This product incorporates conductive fibers developed with Google into the left sleeve of Levi's®'s classic trucker jacket.When the jacket is paired with a smartphone, a few simple actions allow you to listen to music. This is an innovative device that allows you to control various functions of your smartphone, such as playback, navigation to destinations, and answering calls, by touching your left sleeve.
Although it looks like an ordinary trucker jacket that has the same strength as regular denim and is washable, it is equipped with technology that expands the possibilities of our daily lives.

The second product, "Levi's® Trucker Jacket with Jacquard™ by Google," has microfiber textile inside the left cuff of the jacket, and a jacquard tag smaller than a piece of gum is attached to the cuff to pair with a smartphone. This further expands the possibilities of our lifestyle. It provides a seamless everyday technology experience with access to directions, weather and traffic information, messaging and music, and more.

By wearing this jacket, you will be freed from having to use your smartphone in your hands and looking at the screen, and you will be able to have eye-to-eye conversations and live a life without interruption of the wonderful moments unfolding in front of you.
