BEAMS COUTURE is a brand that carefully upcycles BEAMS deadstock products and other items by carefully handcrafting them one by one, mixing them with old clothes and ribbons, and revives them into unique one-of-a-kind items.
This season, the second special collaboration with <Ziploc> has been realized. While retaining the charm of <Ziploc>'s freezer bags, < BEAMS COUTURE >'s unique ideas and skillful handwork have transformed <Ziploc> into wearable items.
The image visual was created by art director Yuni Yoshida, who has captivated many people with her works created from a unique perspective and has collaborated with many famous artists, companies, and brands.
During the period, "BEAMS JAPAN" will open a special corner featuring her works and the world view of this collaboration.

＜Ziploc × BEAMS COUTURE＞Almost sold out, the phantom first collection will be sold at “BEAMS JAPAN” from February 20th (Thursday)
This collaboration item, which went on sale from January 29th (Wednesday), has been very well received and most of the 12 items are sold out.
Therefore, as a token of our gratitude to everyone who has shown an interest in this collaboration, and with the hope that as many people as possible can enjoy it, we have hurriedly ordered the first product, which was launched in the United States last spring.
A limited quantity will be on sale from 11:00 on Thursday, February 20th at "BEAMS JAPAN", which is holding a pop-up shop.
At BEAMS JAPAN store, a pop-up shop is running until March 4th (Wednesday), with a design mix of art director Yuni Yoshida's visuals and Ziploc containers.

- Art director Yoshida Uni
Born in Tokyo. After graduating from Joshibi University of Art and Design, joined Onuki Design. After working at Space Country, he became independent in 2007. He is active in a wide range of fields including advertising, editorial, CD jackets, music videos, and book bindings. Recently, he has worked on CD artwork for Chara, Kaela Kimura, Gen Hoshino, etc., as well as key visuals for Hideki Noda's stage performances. In November 2019, a solo exhibition was held at "Laforet Harajuku", which attracted a lot of attention.

The first edition, released two years ago, received a great response and word of mouth has spread to the United States, leading to the release of the second edition. This time, we have expanded the range of items from triple collaborations to apparel in order to please as many people as possible, making this an updated project. I hope that both men and women can enjoy it.
For the image visuals, I asked art director Yuni Yoshida, who I've always been a big fan of and wanted to work with someday. I think it's a truly wonderful visual that I've never seen before, so I hope you enjoy it as well.
