At < TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS > on the 4th floor of Shinjuku "BEAMS JAPAN", Maho Shimao's first full-length romance novel "Souvenir" (Bungei Shunju) will be held from July 31st (Friday) to August 19th (Wednesday). To commemorate the publication, we will be opening a souvenir shop for a limited time.

At the souvenir shop, in addition to selling original goods produced by Maho Shimao, who is also active as an illustrator and essayist in addition to his work as an artist, as well as his personal items, there will also be an exhibition of the original illustration of Tororo Garden used in the cover art, as well as goods with motifs from the cover art. Sell books.
Those who visit the store will receive a supplementary reader (ZINE) of "Souvenir" edited by Maho Shimao (until supplies last).

Born in October 1978 in Ochanomizu, Tokyo. Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Art.
Debuted in 1997 with "High School Girl Goriko" (Fusosha). Publishes comics and essays in fashion and culture magazines. His books include "Tavillion" (P Vine Books), "Absolutely Komachi" (Sony Magazines), "Maho Shimao's Alone Olive Investigation Team" (Petit Gras Publishing), "Maho-chan's House" (WAVE Publishing), "Manga Maho-chan" ” (KK Bestsellers), “Girlfriend” (P Vine Books), “My Little Setagaya” (Space Shower Network), and “Souvenir” (Bungei Shunju).
His parents are photographers, and his grandparents are writers Toshio Shimao and Miho Shimao.
