MNDSGN (Mind Design) is the featured artist of <Stones Throw>, which is supported not only in hip-hop but also in the release across genres, and is currently the hottest singer/songwriter/producer in the LA scene. < BEAMS RECORDS > will release official collaboration items to celebrate the release of their long-awaited third album, Rare Pleasure, which was completed with their first band structure.
This work, which was created with inspiration from soundtracks, samba, exotica, and library records from the 70s and 80s, further refined MNDSGN's talents as a vocalist, songwriter, and arranger, and became a huge hit. This is a masterpiece that has evolved further from the previous work "Body Wash". The event is attracting a lot of attention due to the participation of talented players such as Kiefer, Swarvy, Carlos Niño, Devin Morrison, and even Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, who can be called LA's dream team.
This collaborative item focuses on the fact that MNDSGN himself created the artwork and music video for this album.The collaboration item has a very comfortable laid-back feel, and is a handwritten drawing taken from the artwork for the album's lead single, "Slowdance." It is based on the color palette used in the text and illustrations.

Mind Design is one of the best singer-songwriters/producers/beat makers in the LA scene. He started making beats in his teens and released his first album "Yawn Zen" in 2014 on S tone s Throw, a label representing the West Coast of the United States. In 2016, he released his 2nd album "Body Wash", absorbing music such as disco, funk, R&B, boogie, etc. based on hip-hop, creating a modern dance/beat sound, which was ranked best in the popular US music magazine Pitchfork. It was also selected as one of the best electronic albums. He is also a big Japanophile, and has performed live at festivals, live houses, clubs, etc. in Japan, as well as provided music for Space Shower TV commercials, and received a love call from Japanese girl band CHAI in 2021. Participated in the new song 'In Pink' as a producer/guest vocalist.
