“SOUVENIR S from SOMEWHERE in JAPAN” pop-up shop will be held at “BEAMS JAPAN”

From May 31st (Tuesday) to June 12th (Sunday), < TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS > will be selling souvenirs from famous shops and famous places from all over Japan under “Somewhere in Tokyo” on the 4th floor of “BEAMS JAPAN”. We will be holding a pop-up shop for our project "SOUVENIR S from SOMEWHERE in JAPAN".
We have created a souvenir called "RUG" presented by the creative team "TOMATO&POTATO" based in Fukuoka Prefecture. Their “RUG” is completely handmade and all one-of-a-kind items. Characters inspired by USA pop culture are gaining popularity.
We will be holding a “RUG” exhibition by “TOMATO&POTATO” and will be selling T-shirts and patches as souvenirs.
TOMATO&POTATO
An apparel brand launched by DOL and SPECDEE in Fukuoka Prefecture in 2017. An office and art spot ``FRESH&HAP PINE SS'' will also be opened.
We create clothes and goods inspired by USA apparel, movies, toys, and pop culture.
In 2020, we organized a new sewing team and started producing completely handmade items, from original patterns to sewing, without going through a factory.
Original RUG will be announced from the end of 2021.
Video artist WATERS has also been added to the output on SNS, and the independent brand has become a hot topic by releasing high-quality LOOK and MOVIE that can be said to be over the top.
