Kobe City, BEAMS, and Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park store are collaborating for the “Meriken Park Cleanup Project”, a cleaning event in the Kobe Port area!

BEAMS collaborated with the creation of an environmentally friendly "minato" in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and together with Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park Store, we organized the Meriken Park Cleanup Project, a cleanup event that travels from the Sannomiya/Motomachi area of Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture to Meriken Park. ” will be held for one day only on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
At the event, we will be offering upcycled items with collaborative designs printed live on the spot as a bonus for participating, so that many people who enjoy walking around the city in spring can participate in picking up trash. Pre-registration is not required. Please feel free to join us.

Handing over participation benefits

Reception begins at 11:00 on the outdoor terrace of Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park store. At the time of garbage collection, we will give you a voucher for participation benefits on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Participation benefits are limited in number. Distribution will end as soon as it runs out.

Recommended course

Please pick up trash while enjoying a walk from the Sannomiya/Motomachi area to Meriken Park, and then bring it to the outdoor terrace of ``Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park''.
*No specific starting point or route has been determined.

How to participate/Notes

・Pre-registration is not required and participation is free. Anyone can participate freely.
・If possible, please bring your own items to pick up trash, such as gloves and trash bags. If you are unable to bring it with you, please drop by one of the three stores mentioned above. We will provide you with gloves and a garbage bag.

・Please cooperate in separate collection (combustible garbage, recyclable garbage).
・Only for those who have collected more than a certain amount of trash, we will give you a voucher for participation benefits on a first-come, first-served basis after 11:00.

Participation benefits

For T-shirts that can no longer be sold for various reasons, we will silkscreen print them on the spot and give them to you.
The print design used for this day-only upcycle project is an original collaboration between Kobe City, BEAMS, and Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park store.
