J-WAVE radio “FLIP SIDE PLANET” and “BEAMS RECORDS” will hold a pop-up to convey the charm of “Rhythm Section International”
2023.03.24

BEAMS RECORDS and the J-WAVE radio program “FLIP SIDE PLANET,” which invites you to “the other side of the board” with song selections and talks that stimulate your curiosity about music, have teamed up to create an excellent indie record that resonates with each other. We will be holding a pop-up shop to introduce the charm of Dent label <Rhythm Section International>.
Bradley Zero, a London-based broadcaster and DJ for Boiler Room and BBC Radio 1, founded the company in 2009 with club events as its starting point. Since 2014, it has officially started as a music label, and has released a collection of works that can feel the heterogeneous mix that is typical of London, where various musical elements such as house, broken beats, jazz, and Afro-tribal are intertwined. It is supported by dance music fans.
< BEAMS RECORDS > will release 15 analog records that have a timeless appeal, from the past works of <Rhythm Section International> to the latest works, and collaboration goods of "FLIP SIDE PLANET" x < BEAMS RECORDS >. The items feature artwork created by up-and-coming graphic designer Yoshiko Tezuka, and are designed to evoke the joy of exploring music. Also, to celebrate the opening of the pop-up on April 1st (Saturday) during the exhibition period, ISLND by Sound Sports will be an in-store DJ.
In conjunction with this event, "FLIP SIDE PLANET" will broadcast a special program focusing on the label. Don't miss the <Rhythm Section International> special feature, which will be broadcast simultaneously from radio programs and record shops!
