Comment from BEAMS SOCCER project leader Akimasa Sano

We are very happy to be able to plan a collaboration product between BEAMS JAPAN and the J League/J Club to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the J League.
Over the past year, I have had many discussions with people from the J.League. The J League has 60 clubs in 41 prefectures, and BEAMS has approximately 160 stores in 41 prefectures. Both companies value the region and have fostered a community with local supporters and customers.
When planning collaborative products, we combined soccer and fashion. Some people may become interested in soccer because of fashion, and some may become interested in fashion because of soccer. We hope that through what we wear, people will be able to connect with each other about their favorite sports, talk about their city, and support their clubs and players, and this will lead to active exchanges throughout Japan.
Above all, nothing would make me happier than if I could help boost Japan's soccer culture. As comrades rooted in the local community, we will continue to support J clubs across the country!
