〈Somewhere in Tokyo〉Comment

"SOUVENIR S from SOMEWHERE in JAPAN" is a project by Somewhere in Tokyo that produces souvenirs from famous stores and famous places across Japan.

For the seventh edition, we created souvenirs for ``LOS APSON?,'' a record shop in Koenji that has supported Tokyo's dope music scene for about 30 years.

Keiji Yamabe, the owner of a record shop that has deep relationships with various artists and has earned a lot of trust, has been a buyer for "Roppongi WAVE" since the late 1980s, and in 1994 opened his own shop "LOS APSON?" in Nishi-Shinjuku. Opened at. After moving to Hatagaya, it has now moved to Koenji, where it also exhibits miscellaneous goods collected from all over the world, T-shirts by artists, and artwork that go beyond the boundaries of records and CDs.

In addition to supervising the music labels ``Jikoku'' and ``Sexy Recordings'' and the magazine ``SPECIALOOSE,'' he also releases music as a DJ under the name AMEL(R)A, and releases art works as an artist. I am actively engaged in activities.

We will be releasing an limted item with old and new artwork drawn by an artist connected to Mr. ``LOS APSON?'' on the original `` Somewhere in Tokyo'' body.

Somewhere in Tokyo

A multi-purpose space < Somewhere in Tokyo > has emerged in a certain location in Tokyo. As a "Total Chaos Space" where a variety of cultures exist, the activities are diverse. It is also developing a neo-souvenir space that turns "a certain place in Tokyo" into a tourist spot.
