Seto in Aichi Prefecture is a pottery production area with a history of over 1000 years. In the late Meiji period, the ``Koseto-style beckoning cat'', which has a silhouette that looks just like a real cat, was born, and to this day it is loved by many people as a ``lucky charm that brings good fortune.'' CHUGAI TOEN is a ceramic craft manufacturer that uses techniques passed down in Seto since the Meiji era to propose lucky charms and seasonal decorations such as modern zodiac signs, beckoning cats, and hina dolls. Each beckoning cat is carefully painted one by one by a skilled craftsman. Unlike industrial products, there may be slight individual differences in color unevenness and expression, but please enjoy the product's characteristics and taste.
