An art exhibition by the art unit <HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT> will be held at "BEAMS T Harajuku" from October 6th (Friday)!

HOME ECONOMICS is an art unit that started its activities in 2020 after reaffirming the importance of personal indoor space and the high degree of freedom during the “stay home” period brought about by the coronavirus. EXPERIMENT〉 This time, the art exhibition of <HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT> will be held at "BEAMS T Harajuku" from October 6th (Friday).

<HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT> has so far examined the elements of objects that make up indoor spaces from various perspectives under themes such as “STUDY1 “analyze elements”” and “STUDY1.2 “analyze from the spiritual side.” By extracting, visualizing, and analyzing these images, I have been creating works that reconsider the significance of the existence of objects.
The theme of this exhibition is ``analyze elements in specific situations “case BED ROOM,” and we focused on “BED ROOM,” which is a specific scene in daily life. Based on the idea of ``considering the relationship between people, things, and situations, such as how people spend their time in specific situations where they confront things, and what they seek from the actions that occur in those situations,'' We will exhibit and sell bedding made from original fabrics, one-of-a-kind pieces such as lights and chairs.
To commemorate the exhibition at BEAMS T, we will be selling clothing and miscellaneous goods featuring special graphics that break down the elements of “BED ROOM.” Furthermore, in sympathy with the sustainable perspective advocated by HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT, a triple collaboration with pajama brand NOWHAW was also realized. We will exhibit and sell one-of-a-kind pajamas that have been given new value by adding different hand prints to each piece according to the theme from the pajama sample archive created by NOWHAW for exhibitions and media use.

On the first day, we will be hosting AI.U, an independent art collective sponsored by A.N.D., which is close friends with HOME ECONOMICS EXPERIMENT, and Mazlika, who also works as a dancer under the name Jasmin and released a beat tape from A.N.D. in May. will host a reception party with a DJ.
