“ENCOMING Brainstorming”, a pop-up event where you can fully enjoy the brand’s world view, will be held at International Gallery BEAMS” from Friday, February 16th.

ENCOMING, which will be available at International Gallery BEAMS for the first time from the spring/summer 2024 season, is a fashion brand created by designer Taiki Kato. Worked as a senior designer for a certain London-based men's brand for two years, and then established the brand for the 2021 spring/summer season. We offer clothing that incorporates the sensibility cultivated in the UK and the philosophy cultivated as an up-and-coming brand.
This time, from February 16th (Friday) to February 25th (Sunday), we will be holding a pop-up event that fully expresses the brand's worldview. Titled ``ENCOMING Brainstorming,'' the store is set up as a ``gallery,'' displaying regular items, archived production materials, and the artist's personal belongings. By sharing Mr. Kato's "inside" of his head, which is usually not visible, with customers, you can fully enjoy the charm of ENCOMING, including his background. International Gallery BEAMS focuses on the brand from a unique perspective. This is a new type of event.
Additionally, the first Special order item with ENCOMING x International Gallery BEAMS will be released on the same day at the venue. Special order for the ENST LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, which has been a signature item since the brand's launch and is an essential part of your wardrobe. In order to bring out the sizing, the original nuances and texture of the fabric, and the cutting of the pattern, we have eliminated the logo and created a more solid atmosphere.
The fabric is made of 80/1 compact twill fabric, which has no regular development and has never been used in the past. By adding a vintage wash and removing the fuzz on the surface of the fabric, the rebound and elegant luster are recreated. Nuance colors like smoky gray are one of the things that influenced the brand and art, and are one of the things that influenced the designer. Light colors like those used by Impressionist painters who were popular in the late 19th century. One of its charms is that its expression changes depending on the lighting at the time.
This outfit can be used to express a wide range of styles, from dressy to sporty.
On the first day of the event, a reception party will be held at International Gallery BEAMS from 19:00 to 21:00, and designer Kato will also be in attendance.
