Korea-based tree13 's exhibition "THE ROOM Ⅱ" will be held at B GALLERY on the 5th floor of BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku) from Saturday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 25th.
The venue will feature an installation that recreates tree13 's workspace, as well as the exhibition and sale of LP-type prints and original artwork.
This exhibition will also be participating in Isetan Shinjuku's "SHINJUKU ART WEEK" project, where a satellite exhibition will be held in the window display of the Isetan Shinjuku store, where you can watch a special movie.
We will explore the charm of tree13. Don't miss this opportunity!
Artist comment
Many of my works, including my portfolio, are a reflection of summer and my lifestyle.
This exhibition at B GALLERY was planned as an attempt to better communicate my lifestyle to everyone.
Hot summer is the main theme of my work.
Although it is not an exact replica of my room in Korea during the summer, I would like to present this exhibition and my works by recreating the room to suit my tastes.
I invite you all to my room, "THE ROOM."

An illustrator who lives and works in Korea. His activities are influenced by Korean subculture and Japanese anime from the 80's and 90's. He has created jacket designs for Korean Vaporwave/FutureFunk artist Night tempo, as well as zines themed around 80's idols and JK.
