BEAMS PLUS opens first stand-alone pop-up store in America, where it originates

BEAMS PLUS which has the concept of "authentic men's clothing that can be worn for many years and never gets boring," will open its first limited-time store in the United States, "BEAMS PLUS LIMITED STORE in Los Angeles," in Los Angeles from Friday, November 15th to Tuesday, December 24th, 2024.

BEAMS PLUS was launched in 1999 and celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024. It inherits the identity of American Ivy style, work, sports, and military uniforms from the mid-1940s to the mid-1960s, while adding its own unique interpretation, offering new authentic clothing that will continue on to the next generation.

The original collection is sold at BEAMS stores in Asian countries, and in 2009 the brand began a wholesale business, and is now sold in department stores and retailers around the world, mainly in Europe and the United States. For the 2024 fall/winter season, BEAMS PLUS will be doing business with 83 companies, connecting with many customers across countries and regions.

BEAMS PLUS has also been actively collaborating with global brands that share its values. While based on American casual style, in recent years the brand has released two capsule collections with J.Crew, which have been given a more modern touch under the direction of NOAH founder Brendon Babenzien. In October of this year, the brand announced a collaboration with London-based skate brand PALACE SKATEBOARDSPALACE, with items that modernize classic American style attracting widespread attention.

The "BEAMS PLUS LIMITED STORE in Los Angeles" event has been well-received in Japan since 2022 as an opportunity to experience the world of BEAMS PLUS and enjoy offline communication with BEAMS PLUS staff. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the brand's launch, and in order to expand the event outside of Japan, it was held in Taipei, Taiwan in May, where BEAMS has nine stores, further expanding BEAMS PLUS global community.
