MANGART BEAMS, a project that handles a wide range of manufacturing and branding projects targeting pop culture and entertainment, will be selling collaboration items with the movie "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-" on a fully pre-order basis on BEAMS ONLINE SHOP from Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
The items being released this time feature the names of the regions where each team is based, called "Divisions" in the work, designed in a college-style font and incorporated into a sweatsuit set.
Designs will be released for each of the six divisions (regions): "IKEBUKURO DIVISION," "YOKOHAMA DIVISION," "SHIBUYA DIVISION," "SHINJUKU DIVISION," "OSAKA DIVISION," and "NAGOYA DIVISION." The graphics are carefully crafted down to the smallest detail to express the worldview of each division and blend naturally into your everyday wardrobe.

"Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-"
◇INTRODUCTION
"Hypnosis Mic" is a music-based character rap project that began in September 2017. A total of 18 unique main characters are divided into six teams - "Ikebukuro Division," "Yokohama Division," "Shibuya Division," "Shinjuku Division," "Osaka Division," and "Nagoya Division" - and engage in heated rap battles.
The rap music that colors the battles is created by rappers and track makers who are leading the Japanese hip-hop scene. The story of each character unfolds with music as the voice actors rap along to various songs.
In addition, "Hypnosis Mic" has been adapted into various media mixes, such as comics, game apps, stage plays, and anime, based on its original character-driven music and narrative-driven audio drama.
◇What's the Movie
The film "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-" has grossed over 1.8 billion yen and is currently a smash hit. It is the first theatrical film in Japan to feature audience participation in an "interactive film."
The winner of the rap battle that unfolds on screen will be decided by the votes of the audience in the cinema.
Voting takes place in real time via a smartphone app, and the story progresses according to the option that receives the most votes.
Depending on each audience member's choice, the story unfolds and the ending changes for each screening...
This will be the first participatory video experience in the history of Japanese cinema.
