Kyoto gallery and shop VOU will host POP UP SHOP on the 4th floor of BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku)

A pop-up shop for Kyoto gallery shop VOU will be opening on Friday, October 10th at TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS on the 4th floor of BEAMS JAPAN Japan (Shinjuku).
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, VOU/Bang is currently on a nationwide pop-up tour called "XO-Bang -XrossOverVOU- TOUR," where they are "crossing over" with the cultures and people they encounter in each location, delivering special content that can only be experienced at each location.
This year's event will be held at BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku), and will feature a wide range of content, including the release of all 10 of the previous VOU/Bo caps in BEAMS Special order colors, as well as the sale of collaboration items with artists who are close friends with VOU/Bo.
Also, during the event, on Sunday, October 19th, there will be a talk show by DAISAK, an indispensable figure when talking about VOU/Bou, as well as an in-store live performance by The Strong Pantaloon X, a comic hip-hop band that, like VOU/Bou, has been based in Kyoto.

INTRODUCTION
About nine years ago, when VOU/BOU was still in its infancy, we had the opportunity to plan and hold an exhibition and pop-up shop called "Yabuki-rabo" at TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS, which was then in Harajuku, giving us the opportunity to expand our activities nationwide. We are looking forward to interacting with many customers at this pop-up shop.

VOU/stick
This gallery and shop space opened in Kyoto in 2015. Located in a residential area close to Shijo Kawaramachi, it is housed in a three-story building called "VOU bldg.", a former printing factory renovated into a space. Through exhibitions and sales, it creates a space where diverse cultures and expressions intersect.

DAISAK
Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1986, he has a studio in Kyotango City where he creates his works. He is attracted to everyday motifs, figurines, souvenirs, and other items whose whereabouts are unknown, and incorporates these into his ceramic works. He creates ceramic objects that can be used daily, such as mugs and plates, as well as three-dimensional objects with no specific purpose.
