Joe Garvey, Eric Elms, Mayumi Yamase, and Kazuma Ogata will hold a joint art show called "Objects By Artists" at BEAMS T Harajuku.

A joint art show titled "Objects By Artists" by four artists who have been close friends for many years - Joe Garvey, Eric Elms, Mayumi Yamase, and Kazuma Ogata - will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku.
This exhibition will feature artworks by four artists with different styles and roots. In addition to eight apparel items incorporating art pieces created specifically for the exhibition, there will also be caps and tote bags featuring collaborative artwork by the four artists.
In addition, we will be holding a launch event that anyone can attend on Friday, February 6th, the first day of the event.
Although the four artists have different expressive methods and backgrounds, they share a common sense and values when it comes to their work. This exhibition was born from that relationship, so please come and see it at the venue.

Joe Garvey
Joe Garvey was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and has been based in New York since 2009. Working in multiple media including painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, and woodworking, he explores themes such as reproducibility, practicality, and the anxieties inherent in contemporary American society. He enjoys hiking with his dogs Oona and Maeve, dividing his time between central and upstate New York.

Eric Elms
Eric Elms is a Los Angeles-based artist and designer. He primarily works in painting, sculpture, printmaking, and book publishing, and also runs sEe (Studio Eric Elms), a multidisciplinary creative studio working for select clients. Drawing on his years of experience creating images for the business sector, he recontextualizes graphic iconography and visual expression to create work that highlights the feelings and moments that emerge in everyday life.

Mayumi Yamase
Born in Tokyo. Spent his childhood in the United States and moved to the UK after graduating from high school. Studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts & Design, University of the Arts London. Currently based in Tokyo. Primarily creating abstract paintings and soft sculptures, he creates works based on the concept of opposing reality (the body) and invisible fantasy and imagination.
