Pink Ribbon campaign to raise understanding and awareness of breast cancer

BEAMS is running a pink ribbon campaign to raise understanding and awareness of breast cancer from Thursday, 1st October to Saturday, 31st October.
Self-examination cards are placed in 150 ladies’ changing rooms to educate women about the disease, as knowledge and early detection can save lives. We hope to encourage breast health awareness through a simple regular self-examination described on the card, that can be carried out in the few minutes in the changing room.
A pink ribbon bracelet by the jewellery brand “Quelle Chance” is available on BEAMS official online shop. Shoko Yamabuki, the designer of the brand, introduced BEAMS to Pink Ribbon activities through her own involvement. 10% of the proceeds of the bracelet will be donated to KSHS General Incorporated Association. BEAMS aims to promote the importance of understanding and awareness of breast cancer, and supports those affected by breast cancer.
