Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. and BEAMS join forces to help rural communities strengthen their economies. Their effort culminates in a new project, "STAND FORTY_SEVEN", sharing brilliant Japanese craft and works with the rest of the country and beyond.

Reaching out to every corner of the 47 prefectures of Japan, the project aims to unveil works and craftsmanship that have yet to be discovered by the world, bring old and new creativity together, to share their history and allure and to act as a bridge between them to bring new ideas and values.

Before the official launch in March 2017, there will be a showing of traditional good fortune items with an innovative twist “Daiengimonoichi”, from Monday 26th December 2016 thru Tuesday 10th January 2017 at four stores; "Isetan Shinjuku", "Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi", "Mitsukoshi Ginza" and "BEAMS JAPAN".
