Mr. Al, a stalwart of California's vintage industry who has a shop and atelier in North Beach, San Francisco, creates his own tailors using the vast amount of vintage fabrics and parts he has collected over the years. We have many celebrity clients and have even created costumes for famous Hollywood movies. Hand-stitched buttonholes and woven labels sewn by myself one by one are proof that they are handmade.
