Artek was founded in 1935 to manufacture and sell furniture, lighting equipment, and fabrics designed by architect Alvar Aalto. Artek has become a world-renowned furniture manufacturer thanks to its track record of manufacturing excellent daily necessities. Since 1930, we have created not only functional architectural styles but also interior styles based on our philosophy of ``cherishing contact with nature while being close to people.''
