Founded in 1921 by Max Braun as a radio parts manufacturing company in the suburbs of Frankfurt, Germany. Inheriting the Bauhaus philosophy, modern design was born in the 1950s, and based on Dieter Rams' philosophy of "Less, but better," all designs are given priority over function, called "functionalism."
