In 1958, he founded Kalita Ltd. in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. Riding the coffee shop boom, the company's business grew with its commercial coffee equipment. With the opening of branches and sales offices in Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo, etc., we also entered the sales of home coffee equipment. In the 1980s, we began importing high-end European and American coffee equipment. It is said that the company was the first to develop an unbleached paper filter for household use that was ahead of the environmental trend.
