imono

A casting brand manufactured by Hyuga Casting, a foundry specializing in copper alloys in Miyazaki Prefecture. Copper, the oldest metal associated with mankind, is melted and poured into a mold made of sand. We named it `` imono'' with the hope that the ancient casting technique would be spread around the world in a word familiar to Japanese people.
