A workshop run by Saki Sugawara in the Okhotsk region of Hokkaido. In an area formerly known as "Notsukeushi = Nupu Un Keshi (the place at the edge of the field)," she uses lacquer from Okhotsk to create lacquerware that fits into everyday life. Her bowls and chopsticks are characterized by their simple yet warm designs and textures that can be used for a long time without getting tired of them.
