TOHNAI, created by designer Yuji Fujiuchi, is a brand that works hand in hand with skilled domestic workshops to create small-lot, integrated production from planning to cutting, sewing, and finishing. Rather than simply adhering to traditions and norms, TOHNAI takes an experimental approach that intentionally breaks them and creates a new order, pursuing the imperfect beauty that emerges from intentional distortion and collapse, and proposing the reality of clothing.
