Massimo Piombo started the brand in 1989, and in 2012 partnered with kiton to develop the PIOMBO brand. In 2024, Massimo Piombo will be succeeded by his eldest son, Carlo Piombo, and the brand name will be changed to CARLO PIOMBO. Massimo Piombo will support the planning and visual aspects as creative director. The unique fabric selection, color harmony, and other aspects of the brand's world will continue unchanged.
