Ninety-nine/Tsukumo

Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture is the birthplace of flip-flops. In the 1950s, with the rise of the rubber industry, the national footwear that everyone is familiar with was born. Flip-flop factories were built all over the country, but now Tsukumo is the only regular manufacturer. As a rare Japanese-made flip-flop factory, we are passing on the craftsmanship of Kobe to this day.
