A metal engraver born in Yokohama in 1975. In 1998, after graduating from metal engraving school, he traveled around Hokkaido by motorcycle while training at a jewelry workshop. Shocked by the patterns on traditional Ainu costumes that she saw at a museum in Nibutani, Biratori Town, she began making accessories by imitating what she saw. In 2003, he married Emi Toko, a native of Akanko Onsen. Moved to Akanko Onsen in 2013. He inherited the atelier of his wife's uncle, the late Ainu wood carver Mr. Toko Nupuri. In 2019, the atelier opened as “cafe & gallery KARIP”.
