Niijima Glass Art Center was established in 1988 by Osamu Noda, a world-famous glass artist from Niijima. In order to make Niijima an "island of glass," we are spreading the charm of Niijima glass, which is made using a rare material unique to Niijima called Koga stone, to the world.
