Authentic denim jacket with modern fitting
A denim jacket made from MADE IN JAPAN material that was faithfully reproduced by disassembling and analyzing denim manufactured between 1942 and 1946.
Manufacturing process
For the warp threads, we use uneven threads dyed with indigo dye. Rope dyeing is a method of repeating coloring and oxidation to fix the color, and this process dyes it a deep indigo color. The fabric is woven slowly in rotation using an old-fashioned shuttle loom, which gives the fabric a sweetness and unevenness.Also, by using highly twisted yarn for the warp threads, the fabric has an even more undulating and rough texture.

It is an indescribable material, with the stiffness typical of denim, the sweetness of the weave, and the texture of a broken waist due to the strong twisting. This classic vintage-like denim is produced using a low-tech method without focusing on mass production, and takes time to bring out the texture and color of the fabric. The product is washed during the finishing process and each piece is dried in the sun, so you can feel the quality of the material from the moment you pick it up. Also, each time you wear and wash it, it will gradually become more familiar, creating a look that rivals old clothes. It is a material that you will love and enjoy changing over time.

The orthodox vintage style has been updated with a modern fit typical of BEAMS. The overall silhouette is loose, and the length is balanced and easy to coordinate with other outfits.
