Official product of the Japan Sumo Association
This special item was created to commemorate the launch of "Grand Sumo LIVE," a live broadcast of sumo, Japan's national sport, by video distribution company ABEMA.
The powerful and stylish design that overturns conventional ideas was created by GOO CHOKI PAR, who also worked on the logo and visuals for the NHK General TV historical drama "What Will Ieyasu Do?". It was produced by Cultural Apartment BE AT TOKYO.
GOO CHOKI PAR
A design unit consisting of three graphic designers, Kyu Asaba, Taketo Iitaka, and Rei Ishii. They focus on "visual communication" that transcends language and thought, and engage in creative activities in a variety of fields. They have worked on graphics for HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE, PARCO, Redbull, and others, and were selected to create a work themed around the Paralympics for the "Tokyo 2020 Official Art Poster."
