■ Design
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of BEAMS, we are releasing a new Special order model in collaboration with New Balance, with whom we have built a deep relationship of trust over many years. The base model is the '2010', a premium and authentic classic model that combines 2000s design with a running sole. In this Special order, BEAMS' signature design language is projected onto the '2010'. The classic upper is updated with a modern interpretation unique to BEAMS. To highlight the complex parts construction, four different shades of navy are combined for each part, resulting in a playful color scheme that is truly characteristic of BEAMS.

The iconic "N logo" is given an asymmetrical finish, creating a special, three-dimensional look. As a symbol of Special order, the printed logo on the insole features the corporate colors of BEAMS. While retaining the exceptional comfort that is synonymous with New Balance, such as the "ABZORB" cushioning in the heel and midfoot and the "Stability Web" in the midfoot, the upper of this BEAMS-spec "2010" has an unprecedented look.
