This Special order was commissioned by BEAMS JAPAN which was commissioned by HAGIWARA Ltd., which was founded in 1892 and handles Igusa products, as well as rugs and furniture. The mat is made from rushes grown in Kumamoto Prefecture and has a design with the motif of Japan's famous mountain, Mt. Fuji, for which the tatami edges were specially commissioned to Takada Takata Orimono, a specialist tatami edge manufacturer in Okayama Prefecture. It's compact enough to sit on or lie down on, and it's light and portable, allowing you to relax wherever you like. In addition, natural rush is pleasant to the touch, and the ingredients contained in its scent have a relaxing effect. How about a special rush mat that is carefully and painstakingly woven one by one by skilled craftsmen using materials suitable for Japan's climate?

[Precautions for use]
・Please wipe with a dry cloth before use.
・Using it in a humid place may cause mold to grow, so please dry it in the shade regularly.
- Avoid exposing the rush to direct sunlight for a long time as it will dry out, become brittle and discolor.
・If there is dirt, wipe it off with a dry cloth. If there is strong dirt, please wring out a damp cloth and wipe off the dirt. Dry wet areas thoroughly. Leaving it wet may cause mold.

[Maintenance method]
- Wipe or vacuum in the direction of the grass. Please do not do this from the side to the weaving direction of the rush as this may easily cause damage.
- When not in use, please clean it and dry it in the shade to remove moisture, then store it in a place out of direct sunlight. Neglecting cleaning and drying can lead to the growth of mold and dust mites.
