A staple of Japanese summer underwear, Takashima Chijimi innerwear trunks. The unique "shibo (unevenness)" is created by loosely weaving tightly twisted weft threads. This shibo reduces the contact area with the skin, providing excellent breathability and a smooth feel. It absorbs sweat well and dries quickly, so it does not stick to the skin even in sweaty summers, keeping you cool and comfortable. Compared to regular plain weave, it uses strong twisted yarn that is twisted about twice as much and reduces the number of weaving threads, resulting in a more breathable finish. The diverse shibo expressions, such as random, straight, and intense shibo, are the result of skilled techniques unique to Takashima, a production area of twisted yarn.
